CCTV News: The 5th China International Consumer Products Expo, held in Haikou, Hainan, has attracted more than 1,700 companies and more than 4,100 brands from more than 70 countries and regions around the world to participate in the exhibition. Among them, there are both "old friends" who have participated in the Consumer Expo continuously and "new friends" who have come to participate in the exhibition for the first time. Many foreign investors said that the Consumer Expo provided an important platform for them to share opportunities in the Chinese market.

What kind of sparks will arise when British style meets Hainan's characteristic culture? This scene is being staged behind the reporter. In front of the British Pavilion, students from a local international school in Hainan were singing Hainan's classic folk song "Long-term See" in English to attract many viewers to stop. As the guest of honor for this year's Consumer Expo, the theme of the British National Pavilion is "British Craftsmanship in Hainan", showing the unique integration of Britain's historical heritage and innovation. 27 companies are unveiling here.

A British outdoor brand salesperson interviewed said that this is the first time their brand has come to Hainan, and it is also a very good experience. They know that China's outdoor market is huge and developing rapidly. At the same time, it is also a fiercely competitive field and brings together many international brands, so they really hope to bring their unique brand stories into this market.

At this year's Consumer Expo, France, Switzerland, Ireland and other countries continued to organize high-quality consumer enterprises and products to participate in the exhibition. Slovakia, Singapore, Brazil and other countries were all the first group to participate in the exhibition, and the "circle of friends" of the Consumer Expo was further expanded. At the exhibition, foreign-funded foreign companies expressed their hope to perceive new trends and new changes in China's consumer market through the window of the Consumer Expo and explore new opportunities for market development.

In recent years, with the in-depth implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) and the mutual visa exemption between China and Malaysia, the economic and trade cooperation and personnel exchanges between the two sides have become increasingly close. In front of the Malaysian booth, Fang Shuhua, secretary of the Malaysian International Business Promotion Association, was in talks.

In the interview, many exhibitors said that China held a Consumer Expo to send a signal of fair and open trade.
