At the occasion of the 10th National Security Education Day for All, various localities have carried out various forms of education activities with the theme of "National Security Education for All, Deepening and Practicing the Tenth Anniversary". From campus to enterprises, from communities to villages, from cities to borders, from offline to online, people have personally felt that national security is by our side in activities such as participating in legal education, visiting themed exhibitions, and watching publicity and education films, and gathering the joint force for everyone to participate and build a national security barrier together.

The country is peaceful and peaceful, and national security is the most basic and universal aspiration of the people, and national security is closely related to each of us. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, especially in the 10 years since the promulgation and implementation of the National Security Law, we have fully implemented the overall national security concept, steadily promoted national security education for the whole people, resolutely safeguarded national sovereignty, security and development interests, and successfully continued to write a new chapter of the "two miracles" of rapid economic development and long-term social stability.

Look at political security, open up channels for citizens and organizations to report behaviors endanger national security, and the "National Security Agency Reporting Acceptance Platform" is directly accessible with one click, and the awareness of anti-espionage prevention in the whole society has been significantly enhanced; look at economic security, increase scientific and technological research and technology to solve the "bottleneck" problems, insist on preparing for the rainy day, and the concept of coordinating development and security is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people; look at network security, the Network Security Law, the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws to protect the construction of a network power, and the people's network security literacy continues to improve... Practice fully demonstrates that everyone is the protagonist in maintaining national security. By insisting on national security for the people and relying on the people, and consolidating the social foundation of national security, we can gather powerful forces to safeguard national security.

This year is the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan. We must successfully complete all planning goals and tasks and lay a solid foundation for a good start to the 15th Five-Year Plan, which puts higher requirements for safeguarding national security. At present, the complexity and difficulty of the national security issues we face have increased significantly, and various predictable and unpredictable risks and challenges have increased significantly, especially external containment and suppression have become increasingly serious, and trade wars, science and technology wars, and public opinion wars have been intertwined, and traditional and non-traditional security threats have emerged one after another. The more we face the high and rapid waves and stormy waves, the more we must stabilize the "ballast stone" of security, accelerate the modernization of the national security system and capabilities, ensure the new development pattern with a new security pattern, and provide solid and powerful security support for promoting Chinese-style modernization.

General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized: "To coordinate development and security, we must always hold it in our hands." This requires us to adhere to systematic thinking and bottom-line thinking, further establish the concept that development is the hard truth and safety is also the hard truth, consciously unify development and security in work, jointly plan, deploy in one fell swoop, and promote each other. At this stage, food production security, energy security, industrial chain security, ecological security, etc. are all key issues to ensure; artificial intelligence ethics, biological intrusion prevention and control, etc. are all long-term issues. Always keep the safety string tight, think more before planning, do more during hard work, and review more after acceptance. Only by timely and effectively solving each safety problem can we achieve high-quality development and high-level virtuous interaction.

There are no "outsiders" to safeguard national security, everyone is the guardian and responsible person. An important purpose of carrying out national security education activities is to enhance the national security awareness and literacy of the whole people and continuously build a solid people's defense line for national security. Safety is higher than the sky, and prevention is seen in detail. Each of us must tighten the "safety valve" in our minds, break the spectator mentality that is not about our own affairs, and check for risks and hidden dangers around us; keep a "safety belt" in life, beware of the paralysis consciousness of safety and forgetting dangers, and not participate in any activities that may endanger national security; practice the "golden bell cover" at work, avoid negligence and careless safety hazards, and always strictly abide by discipline and rules. Start with yourself and start with small things, integrate safeguarding national security into daily life and actions, and build a social governance community where everyone has responsibility, everyone fulfills their responsibilities, and everyone enjoys it. It will surely make the wall of national security unbreakable, and let the ship China ride the wind and waves and move forward.
