Malaysia is located in Southeast Asia. Its territory is divided into east and west by the South China Sea, with an area of about 330,000 square kilometers and a population of about 33.7 million, of which more than 22% of the Chinese are in the capital, and the capital is Kuala Lumpur.
China and Malaysia officially established diplomatic relations on May 31, 1974. In 2013, the two countries established a comprehensive strategic partnership. In 2023, the two countries announced the joint construction of a community with a shared future between China and Malaysia.
At the invitation of Malaysia's Supreme Head of State Ibrahim, President Xi Jinping will start a state visit to Malaysia on April 15.
