CCTV News: The Central Meteorological Observatory continues to issue a yellow warning for strong winds at 06:00 on April 14. It is expected that from 08:00 on April 14 to 08:00 on April 15, there will be strong winds of 5 to 6 in northern Xinjiang, central and eastern Inner Mongolia, North China, eastern Huanghuai, eastern Jianghuai, northern and western Northeast China, northern and western Northeast China, and local gusts of 7 to 9, among which local gusts of 10 or above in northern Xinjiang, northern Hebei, mountainous areas of western Beijing, Shandong Peninsula and other places; there will be strong winds of 7 to 8 and gusts of 9 to 10 in the northeastern Bohai Sea, Bohai Strait, most of the Yellow Sea, and northern East China Sea will have strong winds of 7 to 8 and gusts of 9 to 10, among which the winds of the central and eastern Yellow Sea and some seas in the northeastern East China Sea can reach 9 and gusts of 10 to 12.

The Central Meteorological Observatory and the China Maritime Search and Rescue Center remind ships and personnel who are sailing and operating in the sea area affected by strong winds to return to the port to shelter, prevent ships from anchoring, stranding and collision. Relevant departments should strengthen port facilities and make full preparations for prevention; 2. Forests, grasslands, and urban fire prevention departments are ready for fire prevention, and airports, railways, highways and other traffic management departments should take measures to ensure traffic safety; 3. Stop high-altitude and water outdoor operations and recreational activities, stop open-air gatherings, cut off outdoor dangerous power sources, reinforce or properly place fences, trellis billboards, simple facilities and other buildings that are easily blown by strong winds; 4. Pedestrians and vehicles should not stay in temporary buildings such as tall buildings, billboards, or under trees.
