CCTV News: On the afternoon of April 13, the Ministry of Commerce, together with multiple industry associations, supermarkets and e-commerce platforms, held the launch ceremony of the "Foreign Trade Excellent Chinese Tour" plan at the Consumer Expo, contributing to foreign trade enterprises to open up the domestic market.


Sheng Qiuping, Vice Minister of Commerce, introduced that at present, the complexity, severity and uncertainty of the external environment have increased, the stability of the global industrial chain and supply chain has been impacted, and foreign trade is under obvious pressure. Carrying out the "Foreign Trade Excellent Products China Tour" to help foreign trade products expand domestic sales will help enterprises take advantage of their huge domestic market advantages and effectively resist external shocks, and will also help give full play to the advantages of co-construction of foreign trade excellent products and help boost consumption.

Wang Guanzhi, vice president of JD Group, said that they firmly believe that the domestic market is the strong backing of foreign trade companies. Starting from May 1, within one year, JD.com will invest 200 billion yuan to purchase foreign trade and domestic sales products. JD Group will also set up a special area for foreign trade-to-domestic sales companies to increase resources on hot search lists, provide cold start traffic for new stores, obtain subsidies and invest in advertising, and help new industrial products grow rapidly.

Gong Dehua, deputy general manager of Yonghui Supermarket Co., Ltd., said that they actively linked foreign trade enterprises to open a "green channel" for Chinese manufacturing and launched a 15-day fast launch. At present, they have received cooperation demands from more than 200 excellent supply chain companies, and more than 100 companies have entered the procurement negotiation stage and are expected to be launched on the market within a week.

From my country's six national-level import and export chambers and five industry associations in the circulation field jointly issued a foreign trade excellent China Tour activity initiative. It is particularly mentioned that we should build platforms, smooth channels, create brands, and promote docking, help foreign trade companies expand online and offline channels, and improve domestic supply chains.

Ma Zengrong, vice president and secretary-general of the China Federation of Logistics and Procurement, said that the "Foreign Trade Excellent Chinese Tour" first solves the market-side problems. They are very confident because the integrity of China's industrial chain and the resilience of the supply chain are not based on the economic order dominated by the United States.

Cao Derong, president of the China Food, Local and Animal Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, said that despite the relevant taxes, some products can still be sold, and there are broader other international markets that can be developed, and the domestic market is a huge consumer market.

Peng Jianzhen, president of the China Chain Management Association, said that through such a platform, foreign and domestic trade can be deeply connected through more exhibitions and more activities.

In addition to policy support, the Ministry of Commerce has also set up a special zone for "Foreign Trade Excellent Chinese Tour" in Hall 6 of this Consumer Expo. 31 high-quality foreign trade enterprises from many places across the country are carrying out hot production and sales docking activities.
