On April 9, the 9th Summit of the Community of Latin America and the Caribbean Countries was held in Honduras, the rotating president. Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized in his congratulatory letter to the summit that China-Latin America relations have experienced the test of international changes and have entered a new stage of equality, mutual benefit, innovation, openness and benefit the people, and have set a model of South-South cooperation.
Share the destiny and walk with the great road. In 2014, President Xi Jinping proposed for the first time to build a community of shared future between China and Latin America, which pointed out the direction for the development of China-Latin America and the Caribbean countries in the new era and received positive responses. In recent years, from making suggestions on "leading China-Latin America friendly relations into a new journey" to put forward the connotation of China-Latin America and the new era, President Xi Jinping has always focused on the future of sharing the same destiny between China and Latin America and the Caribbean countries, and has promoted the steady progress of China-Latin America and the Caribbean countries. Media and political scholars in Latin America said that China has always adhered to the positioning of South-South cooperation, guided by the concept of a community of shared future between China and Latin America and continued to promote the upgrading of bilateral relations, and has become an important partner in promoting the integration of Latin America and the Caribbean.
