The 137th Canton Fair will be held in Guangzhou from April 15 to May 5, 2025. The reporter learned that the main operating airlines of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Hub increased capacity investment during the Canton Fair, encrypted flights from international to domestic to Guangzhou. At the same time, they provided special guarantee services such as luggage custody and check-in "As you go" and "As you go" for customers at home and abroad.

In terms of international and regional routes, China Southern Airlines plans to implement nearly 3,300 international and regional flights, an increase of about 7% month-on-month, focusing on the routes of Guangzhou-Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, Dubai, Doha, Sydney, Auckland, Paris, Amsterdam, etc., and make every effort to ensure the travel needs of exhibitors in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Oceania and other countries and regions, and help Sino-foreign economic and trade cooperation and exchanges.

In terms of domestic routes, China Southern Airlines Guangzhou Hub plans to execute 12,400 flights during the exhibition. In addition, in order to better meet the travel needs of exhibitors, China Southern Airlines has increased its flights in Guangzhou-Yiwu and Taizhou, and has adjusted some routes such as Guangzhou-Ningbo, Hangzhou, Nantong, Changzhou, Wuxi, Wenzhou to wide-body flights. During this Canton Fair, the domestically produced C919 and C909 aircraft operated by China Southern Airlines will fly dozens of routes including Guangzhou to Shanghai Hongqiao, Hangzhou, Chengdu Tianfu, Yiwu, Yichang, Nanning, etc., with a total of more than 1,300 flights, allowing more passengers to appreciate the charm of domestically produced aircraft.

In addition, for Canton Fair merchants, airports and airlines have also launched "Baggy Door-to-door" service products. Baiyun Airport Joint Platform sends specialists to the merchant's location to collect luggage and be responsible for luggage packaging, agency check-in services, etc., to achieve seamless connection of "hack door-to-the-show pavilion" and facilitate convenient travel for merchants.

China Southern Airlines has also set up Canton Fair check-in counters in the domestic and international check-in areas of the second terminal of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, added check-in channels to provide "as-you-go" check-in services. At the same time, it has linked Baiyun Airport to open a green security check-in channel for Canton Fair, giving priority to rapid inspections, optimizing the boarding process, and facilitating passengers' smooth travel. China Eastern Airlines has launched the "Easy Boarding" boarding gate wait-out measures: passengers without checked baggage (except passengers who have applied for special services) who take the East and Shanghai Airlines Guangzhou to Shanghai Hongqiao Express, after applying for a check-in pass and passing security check, they can apply for a free flight with the same cabin within 3 hours before the departure time of the original flight, and enjoy the convenient service of "as you go".
