The reporter learned from China Petroleum Tarim Oilfield on April 12 that the cumulative production of oil and gas equivalent of Fuman Oilfield, the largest ultra-deep oil field in my country, exceeded 20 million tons.
Fuman Oilfield is located in the hinterland of the Taklamakan Desert known as the "Sea of Death". It is currently the ultra-deep oil field with the largest oil and gas resources in my country. The reservoirs are generally buried in the ultra-deep layer between 7,500 and 10,000 meters, and the oil and gas resources exceed 1 billion tons. It has the characteristics of ultra-deep, ultra-high temperature, ultra-high pressure, and high sulfur content that are rare in the world.

"At present, Fuman Oilfield has drilled a total of 144 ultra-deep wells with a total of more than 8,000 meters, becoming the oilfield with the largest number of ultra-deep wells in my country." Wang Xiaopeng, executive director and secretary of the Party Committee of the Hade Oil and Gas Management Zone of Tarim Oilfield, introduced.
"In the next step, we will further improve the work of stabilizing production and strive to build Fuman Oilfield into a 5 million tons ultra-shen oilfield." Wang Xiaopeng said. (Reporter Gu Yu)
