CCTV News (News Network): The China Small and Medium Enterprises Association released on April 10 that the China Small and Medium Enterprises Development Index in the first quarter was 89.5, up 0.5 points from the fourth quarter of last year, the highest since 2020.

A survey by the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises showed that the development expectations of small and medium-sized enterprises generally improved in the first quarter, with a slight decline in costs, driving significant improvement in corporate benefits. By industry, small and medium-sized enterprises in the social service industry, industry, transportation industry and information transmission software industry performed the best.

In addition, the operating rate of small and medium-sized enterprises continued to rise in the first quarter, and the proportion of enterprises that fully started construction increased by 11 percentage points compared with the fourth quarter of last year.
