In recent days, the greening project of Lhasa's north and south mountains is undergoing a new round of afforestation. This greening project is Tibet's first large-scale mountain ecological restoration project. It is planned to complete afforestation of 2.0672 million mu in ten years to further strengthen the ecological security barrier.

This year, Tibet will launch a pilot project for the development and trading of forest and grass carbon sink projects, build an agricultural industrialization consortium, develop smart agriculture and animal husbandry, and continue to save energy and reduce carbon in key areas such as industry, urban and rural areas, transportation, and public institutions. At the same time, we will make full use of water, wind, light and other resources to develop the clean energy industry, promote the construction of 1.2 million kilowatts of wind power and 750,000 kilowatts of solar thermal projects, build a demonstration zone for new power systems and a demonstration zone for clean renewable energy utilization, and inject new impetus into Tibet's high-quality development.
