CCTV News: According to the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the case of Wang Bo, former deputy secretary of the Party Committee and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Congress, suspected of taking bribes was investigated and prosecuted by the National Supervisory Commission. After being designated by the Supreme People's Procuratorate in accordance with the law, it was reviewed and prosecuted by the Yichang Municipal People's Procuratorate of Hubei Province. Recently, the Yichang Municipal People's Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution with the Yichang Intermediate People's Court.
During the review and prosecution stage, the procuratorate informed the defendant Wang Bo of the litigation rights in accordance with the law, interrogated the defendant, and listened to the opinions of the defense lawyer. The procuratorate prosecution alleges that the defendant Wang Bo used his position as member of the Standing Committee of Chifeng Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Mayor and Chairman of the Municipal Urban Infrastructure Investment and Development Co., Ltd., Deputy Secretary of the Chifeng Municipal Party Committee, Member and Deputy Mayor of Baotou Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Bayannur Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Hohhot Municipal Party Committee, Member and Vice Chairman of the Party Group of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Government, Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director of the Party Group of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Congress Standing Committee, and the convenient conditions formed by his power or status to seek benefits for others, illegally accept property from others, and the amount is particularly huge, and he should be held criminally responsible for accepting bribes according to law.
