Chinese rescue team completes Myanmar earthquake rescue mission and returns to China safely

On the afternoon of April 9, the Chinese rescue team, China International rescue team, and China Hong Kong Special Administrative Region rescue team that went to Myanmar to carry out earthquake rescue successfully completed the international rescue mission and flew to Beijing Capital International Airport on four Chinese Air Force Y-20 planes.

It is understood that during the earthquake rescue in Myanmar, the Chinese rescue team, the China International rescue team, the China Yunnan rescue medical team, the China Hong Kong Special Administrative Region rescue team and 10 social emergency forces worked together and fought side by side to successfully rescue 9 survivors, including a pregnant woman, found 59 bodies of victims, searched and investigated 287,000 square meters of houses and important infrastructure, and carried out more than 2,000 free medical consultations for the affected people.
