The reporter learned from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development today (April 8) that in order to promote the implementation of rural construction actions and grasp the national village construction situation, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development requires all localities to complete the national village construction statistical survey before May 31 this year. The scope of this survey is all administrative villages across the country; the statistical content includes village overview, population economy, housing construction, infrastructure, public environment, construction management, etc., as well as photos reflecting the village's appearance; the deadline for the survey data is December 31, 2024.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development stated that the national village construction statistical survey data will be used as the basic data for carrying out rural construction evaluation and reference for indicators related to the performance assessment of rural revitalization strategies. Local housing and urban-rural development departments at all levels must ensure that data reporting is timely, complete and accurate, and resolutely prevent and punish data fraud and fraud.
