During the 2025 Qingming Festival holiday, various types of activities to commemorate heroes, traditional cultural activities, and tourism activities will be carried out, and the national cultural and tourism market will be safe, stable and orderly. According to the data center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, during the 3-day Qingming Festival holiday, 126 million domestic travelers nationwide, an increase of 6.3% year-on-year; the total domestic travel expenses were 57.549 billion yuan, an increase of 6.7% year-on-year.
The red tourist attractions in many places carry out Qingming Festival worship activities, and tourists commemorate the revolutionary martyrs and inherit the red genes through various forms such as visiting and participating in themed cultural activities. Urban parks, forest parks, theme parks, historical and cultural districts, key tourist villages and towns across the country have ushered in a boom in tourism, and there is a strong demand for themed tours such as flower viewing, outings, rural areas, camping, and food.
The supply of cultural and tourism products is rich, and holiday consumption is full of vitality. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has released 32 rural tourism routes, and the popularity of rural experience searches such as "seasonal picking" and "digging wild vegetables" has increased. Historical and cultural blocks and tourist attractions in Beijing, Zhejiang, Shandong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Guizhou and other places have created consumption scenarios that integrate traditional culture and trendy fashion, launched agricultural, cultural and tourism integration projects such as tea picking and tea stir-frying, launched new "park + hiking/cycling", digital collections, VR games and other gameplay, and carried out theme activities such as "appreciating spring scenery, tasting spring flavors, and exploring folk customs", which were welcomed by tourists.
Museums in various places have launched cultural and tourism activities with their own characteristics and entertainment. The Palace Museum held the "Le Linquan - Chinese and Foreign Garden Culture Exhibition", the National Museum of China held the "Nine Days of Moon - 20 Years of China's Lunar Exploration Project", the Henan Museum launched the "Traveling Thousand Years of Qingming Festival - The Solar Code in Cultural Relics" online live broadcast event, and the Shanghai Museum's "Qingming·Handworking Workshop" launched the "Kites Flying High" and "Bamboo Cuju Ball" and other hand-made experiences.
