In spring, beautiful peach blossoms bloom at the foot of the majestic glacier in Linzhi, Tibet and the winding Niyang River. With a casual shot, the colorful spring overflowed from the mountains and rivers. On the evening of April 3, the 22nd Peach Blossom Tourism and Culture Festival in Linzhi opened. Five representatives from the grassroots level, as "Peach Blossom Recommender", and the intelligent robot "Doji", jointly launched the opening ceremony.
In Gala Village, Linzhi Town, Bayi District, Linzhi City, National Highway 318 passes through the village. Every year at the end of March and early April, more than 1,200 ancient peach trees bloom in the fields of rapeseed flowers and barley. The reporter saw the villagers busy in the Taohua Garden, some selling goods, and some doing service and guarantee work such as cleaning and traffic guidance. Nima Quji, a 56-year-old villager in Gala Village, was not in the Taohua Garden. "This place will become a peach garden in the future." On the river beach outside the village, she and several villagers were watering the peach tree seedlings. "We have a variety of peach trees, and there will be more peach blossoms in the future." Ms. Zhang, a tourist from Beijing, said excitedly: "This time I not only saw the peach blossoms, but also saw the process of making cloth and clothing in the handicraft workshop. It is so unique and beautiful." The reporter found that the focus of tourists has changed in recent years: they are no longer satisfied with simple check-in and taking photos and Tibetan clothes, but pay more attention to in-depth tourism, showing a strong interest in the historical background of Tibetan clothes and clothing, the humanistic style behind the peach blossoms, and even the daily production and life of local farmers and herdsmen.
In response to the new needs of tourists, the local area has launched cultural and tourism projects with more historical depth, more cultural connotation and more immersive experience this year. This year's Peach Blossom Tourism and Culture Festival is supported by more than 20 cultural and tourism business activities that combine Tibetan characteristics and Linzhi characteristics, including "Hello Linzhi" music carnival, folk sports competition, "Taole Dimension" snow-covered animation exhibition. It also innovatively held activities such as "Knights Crossing 318·Meeting in Linzhi to Appreciate Peach Blossoms" motorcycle show, "Iron Flowers Reflect Peach Blossoms, Intangible Cultural Heritage Welcomes Spring" to ensure that there are performances the next day during the Peach Blossom Festival and every day.
