Guangxi promotes high-quality development through high-level opening up

At the Pingxiang Friendship Pass port on the Sino-Vietnam border, a brand new customs supervision model is being piloted here. Using intelligent means and equipment, the entire process of customs clearance of goods is divided into 21 links. According to real-time situations, measures such as vehicle diversion and strengthening supervision of manpower are taken to further improve customs clearance efficiency and capabilities. At the same time, the construction of my country's first "smart port" has also been accelerated, and the level of customs clearance facilitation continues to improve.

At present, the average daily vehicle traffic at the Youyi Pass port is about 2,300, an increase of nearly 10% year-on-year.

Promote the high-level joint construction of the new Western Land-Sea Corridor. This year, Guangxi focuses on infrastructure construction, a number of key engineering projects have been implemented in accelerating the implementation of the Pinglu Canal project, the main concrete pouring of the ship lock, the waterway has basically been formed, the Beihai Tieshan Port berth has been added, and the Chongzuo to Pingxiang high-speed railway has been built. Guangxi also seized new opportunities for the construction of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone version 3.0 and the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP), and continued to expand institutional opening to ASEAN.

Henan is accelerating the creation of a more competitive inland open highland

At present, in Henan, an international logistics hub led by Zhengzhou-Luxembourg's "Air Silk Road" and formed by railways and land is being upgraded. The construction site of the railway China-Europe Express (Zhengzhou) assembly center project is in full swing, and the third phase expansion of Zhengzhou Airport is being accelerated. In the North Freight Zone of Zhengzhou Airport, the Zhengzhou-Riyadh freight route will be opened next month, and preparations are underway.

Recently, the "Measures for the Implementation of Institutional Innovation in China (Henan) Pilot Free Trade Zones" was issued, taking the free trade zones in Zhengzhou, Kaifeng, Luoyang and other places as a pilot project, and conducting institutional explorations around management system, investment opening, trade convenience, financial services, etc. In addition, 30 international high-standard pilot measures in six aspects, including promoting the healthy development of digital trade and facilitating temporary entry of business personnel, are also being implemented, and the space for international cooperation is further expanded. This year, Henan strives to establish 450 new foreign-invested enterprises and 1,000 new foreign trade enterprises.
