Yang Yuguang, chairman of the Space Transport Committee of the International Astronautics Federation, said: "When any of our crews stayed at the Tiangong Space Station for half a year, we guarantee that a Long March 2F carrier rocket and a Shenzhou spacecraft were on standby. If our astronauts in the sky are in danger, we only need to complete a comprehensive test of the rocket and the spacecraft in a very short time, and then use the fastest time to pick up the astronauts in the sky to go home."
Experts introduced that in addition to adopting the "one main and one backup" model, our Shenzhou spacecraft is also more intelligent.
Aerospace science popularization expert Pang Zhihao said: "Our spacecraft also has the ability to return independently for emergency response. The equipment on the Shenzhou spacecraft can automatically identify and deal with faults. When an emergency failure occurs during autonomous flight, the spacecraft can return to the ground in an emergency response at any time. If the spacecraft fails during automatic docking with the space station, the astronauts can manually complete the rendezvous and docking. After the docking is completed, if a fault occurs in the space station that seriously threatens the life safety of the astronauts, the spacecraft has the ability to evacuate the space station and return to the earth at any time."
