Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, met with Kazakhstan's First Vice Premier Skriyal in Beijing on the 18th, and co-chaired the 12th meeting of the China-Kazakhstan Cooperation Committee.

Ding Xuexiang said that China and Kazakhstan are good neighbors who help each other, good friends who seek common development, and good partners who benefit and win-win results. Under the personal care and promotion of the two heads of state, China-Kazakhstan relations have maintained a rapid development trend and have become a model of relations between countries. In July last year, President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Kazakhstan and made strategic deployment and overall planning with President Tokayev, pointing out the direction and drawing a blueprint for the development of the China-Kazakhstan permanent comprehensive strategic partnership. The two sides should implement the important consensus reached by the heads of state of the two countries, further consolidate political mutual trust, firmly support each other, strengthen the docking of development strategies, deepen pragmatic cooperation, and better benefit the two countries and the people of the two countries.

Ding Xuexiang fully affirmed the achievements of various work since the 11th meeting of the China-Kazakhstan Cooperation Committee and put forward four suggestions for the next work. First, strengthen the diplomatic leadership of the head of state, ensure that the strategic deployment of the leaders of the two countries is implemented and effective, and work together to build a more connotation and vitality of China-Kazakhstan community with a shared future. The second is to deepen high-quality cooperation in jointly building the "Belt and Road" and promote cooperation in economic, trade and investment, connectivity, energy and minerals and other fields to improve quality and efficiency. Third, we will continue to build a solid security barrier, promote law enforcement and security cooperation in depth and practicality, and effectively prevent various risks and challenges. Fourth, tighten the links of cultural exchanges, continue the trend of close exchanges among all sectors of society, and consolidate the foundation for public opinion on China-Kazakhstan friendship.

Scriyal said that Kazakhstan regards the development of relations with China as a diplomatic priority and is willing to give full play to the role of the bilateral cooperation mechanism with China, implement key projects for jointly building the "Belt and Road" and promote Kazakhstan-China cooperation to continuously achieve new results.

During the meeting, the two sides jointly sorted out cooperation and cultural exchanges in the fields of economic and trade investment, interconnection, scientific and technological innovation, energy and minerals, agriculture, environmental protection, etc., and exchanged opinions on deepening cooperation in the next stage and reached a broad consensus.

After the meeting, Ding Xuexiang and Skriar jointly signed the "Minutes of the 12th Meeting of the China-Kazakhstan Cooperation Committee" and witnessed the signing of the cooperation documents.
