Three departments: Support the scrapping and updating of operating trucks in National III and National IV emission standards

On March 19, according to the website of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Transport, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Finance issued the "Notice on Implementing the Scrap and Update of Old Operated Trucks".

The Notice proposes to support the scrapping and updating of operating trucks in the National III and National IV emission standards, and accelerate the update of a batch of high-standard and low-emission operating trucks. Differentiated subsidy standards will be implemented for scrapping old operating trucks in advance, scrapping and updating the purchase of National VI emission standards trucks or new energy trucks, and only newly purchased new energy trucks that meet the conditions, according to the type of scrapped vehicles, early scrapping time and power type of newly purchased vehicles, etc. Vehicles that have obtained support from other central funding channels will not be included in the scope of this subsidy funding support.

The implementation period of the above subsidy policy is from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.
