CCTV News: Since my country comprehensively optimized the visa-free transit policy, various convenient entry and exit measures have continued to release dividends, and the number of "visa-free entry" passengers at Hangzhou ports has increased significantly. According to the latest data from the Hangzhou Border Inspection Station, as of March 17, the inbound and outbound passenger flow at Hangzhou port exceeded 1 million this year. Hangzhou Border Inspection Station has empowered technology to help passengers pass through efficient clearance.

The reporter saw in the entry hall of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport that many passengers were using the machine to fill in the entry registration card under the guidance of the police at the border inspection station. This is the latest foreign entry card self-filling terminal for the Hangzhou border inspection station. Unlike previous handwriting, the terminal is more convenient and efficient. In the exit hall, the Hangzhou Border Inspection Station independently developed a "smart monitoring" system. It captures data through cameras and sensors, uses data modeling and AI analysis and other technologies to monitor 32 outbound channels in real time, calculates the average waiting time, maximum queue time and hourly in and outflow flows, and promptly guides and diverts to reduce passenger queue time.

The staff introduced that in the past, the guide was conducted through naked eye analysis and backstage police intercom calls. After starting this system, the system made predictions in advance, and the waiting time for passengers was shortened by about 50%.

Next, the Hangzhou Border Inspection Station will also use more artificial intelligence technologies to cover many application scenarios in the field of immigration management, so that passengers from all countries can enjoy smart and efficient customs clearance services while ensuring safety.
