CCTV News: During the spring plowing season, vegetable planting across the country has entered a busy period. The reporter came to Yongzhou, Hunan, and the vegetable planting area here has remained at about 3 million mu for many years. Relying on its geographical location advantage facing the Greater Bay Area, Yongzhou's vegetable sales account for more than 30% of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area market, and it can directly reach the Hong Kong market in as soon as 7 hours.
In the fields of Yongzhou, Hunan, reporters can see continuous vegetable planting bases everywhere. He Hailong is the head of an agricultural product export enterprise in Jiangyong County, Yongzhou City. His most important job every day is to supervise vegetable transport vehicles from Yongzhou to Hong Kong across regions, and depart on time at 12:30 noon every day.

The reporter saw at He Hailong's vegetable processing base that two vehicles transporting vegetables were equipped with vehicle license plates from Guangdong and Hong Kong, which means that these vehicles could be directly driven to the Hong Kong border. It solved the problems of processing, transportation and secondary packaging in Shenzhen in the past, which not only saved time, but also reduced the cost of renting a house and hiring a person.

Li Jiangmin, deputy director of Yongzhou Customs, said: "We have innovatively carried out this reform pilot of cross-regional direct supply in Hunan, directly planting, producing, processing, packaging and inspection at the place of production, and supplying directly across regions from the place of production, which can be supplied to Hong Kong for 7 hours, ensuring the quality, safety and freshness of vegetables."

In order to further improve customs clearance efficiency and save customs clearance costs, the reporter learned that Yongzhou Customs has also innovatively launched the "fruit and vegetable assembly" supervision model nationwide. In the past, vegetables and fruits for Hong Kong could not be assembled. Even if they were produced and packaged by the same company, they could only be shipped by different vehicles. The reporter saw that more than 20 kinds of fruits and vegetables that He Hailong transported to Hong Kong today did not need to distribute additional vehicles if one car could be transported away.
He Hailong, head of the export workshop of an agricultural company, said: "If you can't mix it, there may not be a lot of goods. You need a single car, at least two cars. Now I can get together, so I save money on a train."

Li Jiangmin said: "After adopting the supervision model of 'fruit and vegetable assembly', the transportation cost of each car of the enterprise can save about 1,000 yuan, and the customs clearance time is also reduced by about 50%. "
