CCTV News: The key project during the 14th Five-Year Plan period - the Shanghai-Nanjing section of the high-speed railway from Shanghai to Nanjing to Hefei has made a new breakthrough. As one of the key control projects of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu River High-speed Railway, the Chongtai Yangtze River Tunnel exceeded 5,000 meters on the 17th.
Behind the breakthrough is the innovative research and development of intelligent excavators in my country. This world's largest diameter high-speed rail shield machine independently developed by my country has a smart "brain", integrating the application of digital twins and simulation, integrated intelligent construction of sensing and control, cloud computing and other advanced technologies. While breaking through geological problems, the "Pilot" also achieves millimeter-level excavation accuracy under unmanned state.
As the continuous excavation of the "Pilot" continues to move forward, it is expected that after the completion of the "Pilot" by the end of 2029, it is expected that Chongming will go through Taicang to Shanghai Baoshan Station through Taicang to end the history of Chongming Island without slowing down. The idea of the high-speed rail crossing the Yangtze River at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour will be realized.
The largest coal transportation port in my country, Huanghua Port, is re-expanded
The reporter learned from the State Energy Group on March 17 that Huanghua Port, the largest coal transportation port in my country, is re-expanding. This is the fourth time Huanghua Port has expanded the scale of coal transportation. The expansion project plans to add 4 new 70,000-ton coal loading berths, 18 30,000-ton silos and 2 coal overturners unloading systems. According to relevant sources, after the expansion project is completed and put into operation, Huanghua Port's annual coal transportation capacity will be increased from 210 million tons to 260 million tons, and the annual coal storage capacity will be increased from 4.6 million tons to 5.14 million tons.
Huanghua Port is the main hub port for the "West Coal East Transport" and "North Coal South Transport". Every year, more than 200 million tons of coal are launched here and outbound, accounting for about 30% of my country's total coal launching volume. It is understood that since Huanghua Port was put into production at the end of 2001, it has completed the launch of more than 3 billion tons of coal ports, providing strong support for safe electricity and energy use in many places in my country.
