CCTV News: At present, more than 4,000 acres of cherry blossoms in Cherry Blossom Valley in Yiliang County, Yunnan have entered the peak flowering period. The continuous sea of flowers not only brings a visual feast to tourists, but the local area also relies on the "flower-viewing economy" to help rural revitalization.

Looking down at the rolling mountains, cherry blossoms cover the earth like pink brocade, layer by layer, stretching out in the distance. Yiliang County Cherry Blossom Valley is the largest cherry blossom planting base in Yunnan. It has 370,000 cherry trees. From March to April every year, cherry blossoms bloom in a row, making it beautiful.

The spring scenery in front of me was a rocky desertified mountain many years ago. More than ten years ago, the local government decided to carry out ecological restoration, plant trees and afforestation, and choose suitable cherry blossom varieties to promote planting on a large scale. It is precisely because of this unremitting transformation that this place has become a place where flowers bloom and full of vitality.

In the sea of flowers, tourists are endless, enjoying the grand scenery of spring. The "beautiful economy" of flower viewing has also created a large number of employment opportunities for the local area and driven the surrounding villagers to increase their income and become rich.
