CCTV News (News Network): The General Office of the CPC Central Committee recently issued the "Notice on Carrying out Study and Education on Deeply Implementing the Spirit of the Central Eight Regulations in the Whole Party" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice").
The Notice pointed out that in order to persevere in implementing the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations and promote the normalization and long-term effectiveness of work style construction, with the approval of the Party Central Committee, the study and education of thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations (hereinafter referred to as "learning and education") will be carried out throughout the Party.
The Notice clearly states that we must adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, continue to deepen the Party’s innovative theoretical armament, organize the whole Party to carefully study and understand General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on strengthening the Party’s work style construction, study and understand and implement the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations and their implementation rules, systematically summarize the remarkable achievements made in thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, concentrate on rectifying prominent problems that violate the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations and their implementation rules, and use cases of wind and corruption to strengthen warning education.
The Notice emphasizes that we should focus on the theme, be simple and pragmatic, and do not divide the number of batches or stages. We should promote learning, investigation and rectification in one piece, integrate it into daily life and grasp it regularly, and earnestly implement the work arrangements of learning and discussion, problem investigation, concentrated rectification, and open-door education.
The Notice requires that party committees (party groups) at all levels should be responsible for the learning and education of their regions, departments and units, closely combine with the central work, and carefully organize and implement it.
