Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, March 17. Recently, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee issued the "Notice on Carrying out Study and Education in Deeply Implementing the Spirit of the Central Eight Regulations in the Whole Party" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice").

The Notice pointed out that in order to implement the deployment of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, consolidate and expand the results of the thematic education on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, consolidate and deepen the results of party discipline learning and education, persevere in implementing the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations, and promote the normalization and long-term effectiveness of work style construction, with the approval of the Party Central Committee, the study and education on thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations (hereinafter referred to as "learning and education") will be carried out throughout the Party with the approval of the Party Central Committee. Learning and education will be launched after the National People's Congress in 2025 and will basically end before the end of July.

The Notice clearly states that we must adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, continue to deepen the Party’s innovative theoretical arming, organize the whole Party to carefully study and understand General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on strengthening the Party’s work style construction, study, understand and implement the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations and their implementation rules, systematically summarize the remarkable achievements made in thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, concentrate on rectifying prominent problems that violate the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations and their implementation rules, use the cases of style and corruption to strengthen warning education, guide Party members and cadres to temper their party spirit, improve their ideological awareness, strengthen the relationship between the Party, the masses, cadres and the masses, and use new achievements in work style construction to promote the maintenance of the Party’s advanced nature and purity and continuously win the trust and support of the people, providing strong guarantees for further comprehensively deepening reform and promoting Chinese-style modernization.

The Notice emphasizes that we should focus on the theme, be simple and pragmatic, and do not divide the number of batches or stages, and promote learning, investigation and reform in an integrated manner, integrate it into daily life and grasp it regularly. The study and discussion should organize the study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on strengthening the Party’s work style construction and the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations and their implementation rules, summarize and study the results and experience of thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations, improve awareness, enhance confidence, and unswervingly implement them.
