Relevant person in charge of the National Development and Reform Commission introduced that the national catalog of industries encouraged by foreign investment will focus on increasing support for advanced manufacturing, high-tech, energy conservation and environmental protection and other fields; the catalog of foreign investment advantageous industries in the central and western regions will focus on increasing support for basic manufacturing, applicable technologies, people's livelihood consumption and other fields.
Jiang Yi, director of the Policy Research Office of the National Development and Reform Commission, introduced that this directory has formed a public draft for soliciting opinions, and opinions from all parties have also been solicited online. Currently, there are 1,700 items in this draft for soliciting opinions. It should be said that more than 200 items have been added to the previous version, which is the 2022 version, which is still a large proportion of the increase. At the same time, during the process of soliciting opinions, more than 140 suggestions were received from all walks of life. At present, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Commerce work with relevant departments to modify and improve the opinions of all parties. This year, the new version of the catalog will be released as soon as possible according to the procedures.
