At the meeting, Ouyang Bo, deputy director of the Department of Integration of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and Ethnic Minorities of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, introduced that traditional Chinese medicine is a treasure of the Chinese nation. From "Jinkui Yaolue" to "Fu Qingzhu Women's Department", from Bian Que to Zhang Zhongjing and then to Fu Shan, traditional Chinese medicine has a profound theoretical foundation and practical application in women's health care. It has obvious distinctive advantages in treating female diseases and maintaining female health, and is deeply loved by female friends. For a long time, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine has attached great importance to women's health work, actively leveraged the unique advantages of traditional Chinese medicine gynecology, served women's health, and strengthened the construction of gynecology in traditional Chinese medicine hospitals. At present, more than 2,600 second-level or above traditional Chinese medicine hospitals have set up gynecology departments, which can provide gynecological traditional Chinese medicine services to the majority of women. We jointly promote the construction of traditional Chinese medicine service capabilities in maternal and child health institutions with the National Health Commission. More than 1,300 second-level and above maternal and child health hospitals have set up clinical departments of traditional Chinese medicine, and generally carry out traditional Chinese medicine gynecological services.
