CCTV News: On March 16, the "Special Action Plan to Boost Consumption" was officially released. The "Plan" proposes 30 specific measures from eight aspects to solve the prominent contradictions and problems that restrict consumption.

The plan proposes seven major actions, including: urban and rural residents' income increase promotion action, consumer capacity guarantee support action, service consumption quality improvement action, bulk consumption renewal and upgrading action, consumer quality improvement action, consumption environment improvement action, and restrictive measures cleaning and optimization action. The "Plan" targets a series of important factors affecting consumption, such as consumption capacity, consumption supply, consumption environment, and restrictive policies in the consumption field, and proposes a number of specific measures to further promote the release of consumption potential.

Wang Wei, a second-level researcher at the Market Economy Research Institute of the Development Research Center of the State Council: This special action to boost consumption is a very important innovative measure for our government to pay attention to people's livelihood and invest in people. It is also a key and powerful measure for our various government departments to work together to promote various consumption policies and jointly support the development of consumption.

In addition, the "Plan" also proposes five improved support policies, such as the use of policy tools such as fiscal subsidies and loan interest subsidies to combine promoting consumption with benefiting people's livelihood and filling in shortcomings, expanding consumption demand and improving consumption capacity, and better play the positive role of consumption in smoothing the circulation of the national economy and driving economic growth.

Zou Yunhan, deputy director of the Macroeconomic Research Office of the National Information Center of the National Development and Reform Commission: If the action plan is implemented at a faster pace in the future, it will provide strong support for the improvement of consumption growth this year and provide abundant impetus for the continued improvement of the entire economy.
