On March 16, the newly built Shanghai-Nanjing-Hefei High-speed Railway (Shanghai-Nanjing-Hefei High-speed Railway) Liuhe Super Bridge spanned the Nanjing Metro S8 Line S8, 10,000 tons of continuous beam. Jiangsu Province's high-speed railway construction uses rotating continuous beam technology to cross the existing subway, accumulating valuable experience for bridge construction under complex transportation road network environments.

The Shanghai-Nanjing-Hebei High-speed Railway Liuhe Super Bridge is located in Liuhe District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. The continuous beam of the rotating body is 126 meters long and weighs 11,300 tons. In order to avoid the impact of the construction of the superstructure on the safety of subway operation, the construction team adopted a bridge construction plan that balances the rotation, that is, first pour the beam body on one side along the subway line, and then let the beam body be in place through the rotation body. According to Jiang Xupeng, project manager of China Railway No. 19th Bureau, within 70 minutes of operation, the construction personnel monitored the rotation data in real time to ensure that the 10,000-ton beam body rotated at a constant speed in the clockwise direction, and finally completed the 46-degree precise rotation, achieving high-precision docking with the piers on both sides.
