In Lishu County, Jilin Province, a large grain-producing county, the production lines of agricultural product processing enterprises are busy. Here, the fresh corn of Yishu has been refined and processed into vacuum fresh corn, quick-frozen corn kernels and other products, and the added value of agricultural products has been significantly increased. There are nearly 10 modern agricultural product processing enterprises in Lishu County. Since the beginning of this year, the number of orders signed has increased by 15% year-on-year.

In 2024, Jilin Province's corn production exceeded 85 billion jin. At present, the whole province has taken the deepening and strengthening of agricultural products and fine processing of food as an important means to promote the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas. Through various methods such as technology upgrades, project leadership, investment promotion, brand marketing, etc., it further extends the industrial chain and enhances the value chain. This year, Jilin strives to add more than 100 provincial leading agricultural industrialization enterprises to promote the production and operation of a number of projects such as deep processing of corn, ginseng food and cosmetics.
