CCTV News (News Network): The China Small and Medium Enterprises Association released on March 12 that the China Small and Medium Enterprises Development Index in February was 89.8, up 0.8 points from January, setting a record high in the past four years. Each sub-index and sub-industry index rose across the board.

The survey by the China Small and Medium Enterprises Association showed that with the start of many projects in various places, the market demand for small and medium-sized enterprises steadily increased in February, and the proportion of enterprises with a starting rate of 100%, an increase of 7.2 percentage points from January. The improvement of corporate efficiency has led to an increase in investment intention. Among the eight industries surveyed, the investment index in seven industries increased, and the willingness of enterprises to expand production increased significantly.

The survey also shows that with the continued transformation and upgrading, many small and medium-sized enterprises are accelerating their development towards high-end and intelligentization, becoming an important force in cultivating new quality productivity.
