CCTV.com News: The reporter learned from the Ministry of Commerce that from January 1 to March 11 this year, 1.664 million electric bicycles were sold and replaced in the country, exceeding the total in 2024, equivalent to 120.4% of the total work volume in 2024.
Since this year, more than 1.65 million individual consumers have enjoyed the "little electric donkey" trade-in policy, with a total subsidy of 1.0 billion yuan, with an average of about 600 yuan per person. By exchanging old for new cars, 4.51 billion yuan was driven, benefiting 47,000 sales stores, most of which were individual business owners and small and micro enterprises, with an average single store driving sales of 96,000 yuan.
In the next step, the Ministry of Commerce will work with relevant departments to continue to guide local governments to improve their working mechanisms, clear up bottlenecks, and maintain the bottom line of safety, so as to promote greater results in the exchange of old bicycles for new ones.
