The reporter learned from the Ministry of Commerce that from January 1 to March 11, 2025, 1.664 million electric bicycles were sold and replaced in the country, exceeding the total in 2024, equivalent to 120.4% of the total work volume in 2024.

Since this year, more than 1.65 million individual consumers have enjoyed the "little electric donkey" trade-in policy, with a total subsidy of 1.0 billion yuan, with an average of about 600 yuan per person.

By trading old for new cars, 4.51 billion yuan, benefiting 47,000 sales stores, most of which are individual business owners and small and micro enterprises, with an average single store driving sales of 96,000 yuan.
