The meeting pointed out that the national product quality and safety situation in 2024 was generally stable, and no major regional, systematic or industry product quality and safety accidents occurred throughout the year.
The national supervision and random inspections of 400,000 enterprises and 1.07 million batches of products, an increase of 30.5% over the previous year. 97,000 batches of unqualified products were found and disposed of. The unqualified rate of 49 products in the national supervision and random inspections decreased, and 14 products such as electric bicycle chargers decreased by more than 10 percentage points. Production license management is implemented for 6 products such as cold-rolled ribbed steel bars, and the types of products issued by production licenses have increased from 10 categories and 21 categories to 14 categories and 27 categories. We have deepened the three-year action plan to "improve quality and strengthen enterprises" for quality and technology assistance, and helped 165,000 enterprises. The quality of domestic cotton has reached the best level in the past six years. Implement quality and safety traceability for nine key products such as electric bicycles and gas appliances, build a full-chain product quality and safety risk monitoring mechanism, and actively promote the product quality grading system.
