Merry Lynch and I often "visit privately" the canteen on a verbose private place. When I saw that the canteen’s breakfast was unchanged, white porridge, boiled eggs, steamed buns and pickles for a long time, I called the canteen’s masters to criticize them. I said, “Can you use your brain to make some tricks? If you can’t, I will do it.” The masters quickly reflected on it. Not long after, the quality of the canteen’s breakfast has been greatly improved. It is said that recently, homemade tofu brains have begun to be used, which shows the principle of “water cannot be activated”.

"Hanjia Cuisine" is not just a small dining table in our house. Merrill Lynch suggested that he fund the establishment of the Korean Pavilion "employee fund". In order to create a team spirit, we missed either the Chinese Festival or the Foreign Festival. We made rice dumplings together on the Dragon Boat Festival, we ate mooncakes and set river lanterns together on the Mid-Autumn Festival, and we divided turkeys and made pumpkin pies on Thanksgiving. During the Spring Festival in 2020, dozens of employees who stayed in Beijing to guard due to the epidemic made dumplings together at home, ate New Year’s Eve dinner, set off electronic fireworks and made games together. Mo Yan and Da Feng compete on the same stage to make dumplings, Yu Qiuyu and Cai Zhizhong taste panda ice cream and Korean desserts with Merrill Lynch art elements, the "late-night canteen" born after the 80s and 90s, and the thank-you dinner at the Duke's Mansion of Venice...
