Affected by the cold wave, large-scale rain, snow and strong winds will appear in the central and eastern regions, which will have a great impact on transportation and are also prone to colds and other diseases. It is recommended that the public pay close attention to weather forecast and warning information, arrange its itinerary reasonably, and take good protection. The specific forecast is as follows:

Snowfall forecast: From the 1st to the 3rd, rain to sleet or snow will occur in the eastern part of the northwest region, western and southern part of North China, Huanghuai, Jianghan and Jianghuai, and Jianghuai from north to south, with light to moderate snow in most areas. Among them, there will be heavy snow in some areas such as Ningxia, northern and southeastern Shaanxi, central and southern Shanxi, western and southeastern Henan, central and peninsula areas, northern Hubei, central and northern Anhui, and local blizzards (10-18 mm); the new snow depth in the above areas is 2-3 cm, and local mountainous areas in northern Shaanxi, central and southern Shanxi, western and southern Henan and mountainous areas are more than 8 cm.

Rainfall Forecast: From the 1st to the 3rd, there will be light to moderate rain in southern North China and most areas south of North China, and heavy rain and local heavy rain in some areas such as the Huanghuai, Jianghan, Jianghuai, northern and western Jiangnan, and local heavy rain. The cumulative rainfall in the above areas is 40-60 mm, and locally more than 80 mm; locally there will also be strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and strong winds in Hunan, Jiangxi, Guizhou, Guangdong and other places.

Forecast of strong wind cooling: From the 1st to the 3rd, the temperature in most areas of central and eastern China will drop by 6 to 10℃, and some areas such as the Huanghuai, Jianghan, Jianghuai, Jiangnan, northern South China and northern Northeast China will drop by 12 to 16℃, and local cooling will drop by more than 18℃; around the 3rd, the lowest temperature 0℃ line will press south to the Jianghan to the Huaihe River. After the cold wave, the temperature in most areas of central and northern Jiangnan and northeast will change from high in the early stage to low or close to the same period of the year. In addition, the central and eastern regions will be accompanied by winds of 4 to 6, with gusts of 7 to 9; the Bohai Sea, most of the Yellow Sea, most of the East China Sea, northeastern South China Sea, Taiwan Strait, Bashi Strait and other waters will be accompanied by winds of 5 to 7, with gusts of 8.

Meteorological experts remind that the rain and snow range in this process is wide and the local precipitation is large.
