In 2024, the number of business entities in my country was nearly 200 million, and more than 20 million new business entities were established. The growth and development of tens of millions of newly established business entities conveys hope and confidence in China's economy.
Confidence comes from volume growth. The latest data shows that in the first three quarters of 2024, my country established 6.622 million new enterprises, 14.024 million new individual industrial and commercial households, and 50,000 new farmers' professional cooperatives. Various business entities showed a stable growth momentum. Each newly established business entity is a "vote of confidence" invested by investors in economic development, reflecting the continuous improvement of market expectations and the gradual increase in investment confidence.
Confidence comes from qualitative improvement. Among the newly established enterprises in my country in the first three quarters of 2024, there were more than 2.39 million enterprises in the "four new" economic sector, accounting for about 40% of the total number of newly established enterprises. These high-tech enterprises are the support for the transformation of new and old kinetic energy, and are also the micro-foundation for the cultivation and development of new quality productivity. Especially in recent years, new technologies and new industries such as artificial intelligence have flourished, new business forms and models have emerged at an accelerated pace, and the "new" intentions of business entities have been thriving, bringing more vitality to economic development.
Confidence comes from the continuous cultivation of fertile soil for business. A good business environment is the "air" and "soil" for enterprises to start businesses. At present, from the symposium of private enterprises at the central level, to the first New Year meetings in many provinces, and the relevant deployment and measures of various departments, it conveys a clear signal of creating a better development environment for enterprises.
