The reporter learned from the Ministry of Education today (27th) that in 2024, the Ministry of Education hosted a total of 2,657 proposals and proposals for the Two Sessions, including 1,413 proposals for the National People's Congress and 1,244 proposals for the CPPCC, covering compulsory education, vocational education, university discipline construction, sports aesthetic education, double first-class, top innovative talent training, and education digitalization. At present, 2,657 proposals and proposals have been completed on schedule.
In response to the insufficient quality resources for basic education reported by representatives and deputies, we organized and implemented the action to expand and improve the quality of basic education, adding 10.17 million high-quality primary and secondary school degrees and 3.25 million public kindergarten degrees to better meet the needs of the people.
In response to the opinions and suggestions on "promoting the high-quality development of higher education" and "cultivating top innovative talents", the Ministry of Education has incorporated the insights of representatives and deputies into the pilot of comprehensive reform of higher education, the construction of "new engineering, new medicine, new agricultural science and new liberal arts" and effectively transformed them.
