More than 200 local cadres and masses of all ethnic groups manually lay "grass squares", that is, laying dry reeds on the ground and then pressing them into the sand. In order to prevent the desert from being in Manyan, the local area has also set up high vertical sand barriers like fences or fences. It is built with wooden stakes as support and connected with wind barriers made of reeds. Its main function is to block the wind. Only after the wind weakens the speed of standing sand barriers, the amount of sand carried will be reduced.
