In order to ensure the safety of students in the earthquake-stricken areas in the spring semester this year, the Dingri County Education Bureau has jointly conducted a comprehensive assessment of the school safety of three primary schools and 10 kindergartens in the three townships of Changshu, Quluo and Cuoguo in the severely affected areas of this earthquake. According to the evaluation results, Dingri County adhered to the principle of "safety first and scientific policy implementation", and adopted the method of "diversion and resettlement, nearby enrollment" for the three primary schools with safety hazards, and transferred 1,479 students to the county town for school.

Wang Ren, director of the Education Bureau of Dingri County, Shigatse City, said that after evaluation, there are certain safety risks in the school buildings of the three schools in the severely affected areas, so the Education Bureau decided to move the students of the three schools to the county town for centralized resettlement. The risk of kindergartens is relatively small, and relevant departments carry out building hazard removal to ensure safety and resume classes.

In order to arrange students in the disaster area, the Dingri County Party Committee and County Government actively coordinated the resources of the county and established four temporary teaching points to coordinate the resources of the county's first junior middle school, the first primary school, the second primary school and the county party school. At present, 35 classrooms have been arranged, 125 prefabricated student dormitories have been built, 3 student canteens and 58 sets of faculty and staff dormitories have been planned.

In terms of ensuring student safety, schools organize professionals to conduct comprehensive safety inspections on campus circuit facilities, fire equipment, etc. At the same time, a detailed emergency plan is formulated to deal with possible emergencies. In addition, the school will specially arrange psychological counseling teachers to offer psychological intervention courses in all primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the county.
