After the approval of the State Council, the 2025 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Meeting will be held in Beijing from March 27 to 31, and will be co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Chinese Association for Science and Technology and the Beijing Municipal Government.
Zhongguancun Forum is a national platform for China's global scientific and technological innovation exchanges and cooperation. The Zhongguancun Forum was founded in 2007 with "Innovation and Development" as its permanent theme. It aims to promote countries to share global innovation ideas and development concepts, discuss cutting-edge science and technology and future industrial development trends, discuss global innovation rules and innovation governance, and jointly promote science and technology to better benefit people of all countries.
This forum annual meeting is based on "New Quality Productivity and Global Science and Technology Cooperation" as its annual theme. It has set up five major sections: forum meetings, technology transactions, results releases, frontier competitions, and supporting activities. It will hold an opening ceremony and plenary meeting, about 60 parallel forums, Zhongguancun International Technology Trading Conference, Zhongguancun International Frontier Science and Technology Competition and special releases of major achievements. During the annual meeting, supporting activities such as cultural exchanges, popularization of science, and project roadshows will also be carried out. In addition to the annual meeting, a series of normalized activities will be held throughout the year.
