National People's Congress representative Tian Shuxian is the chairman of Xianzi Ecological Breeding Professional Cooperative in Chibi City, Hubei Province. She has a master's degree in agriculture and uses what she has learned and has been committed to using technology to help villagers increase their income and become rich for many years.
Based on her professional advantages, she constantly explored and tried farmland information transformation, and made the land profitable through scientific and meticulous management. In addition, she broadened the new idea of "combining breeding and breeding", and with the co-production model of "rice, shrimp, shrimp and duck", she further implemented the "shrimp, rice, and eel" breeding model with her fellow villagers, and provided professional guidance and assistance from door to door.
Technology is the key to developing agriculture. Tian Shuxian has built an ecological agriculture laboratory, a microbial culture room, and a water quality detection room in the fields, and has also built a "rice, shrimp, duck" ecological breeding demonstration base equipped with multi-spectral drone monitoring and plant protection drones to spray agricultural microorganisms. Based on the practice of the management base for many years, she initiated the establishment of a breeding professional cooperative, built a modern agricultural service center, and led the villagers to develop modern scientific and technological agriculture together.
At the 2025 National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Tian Shuxian focused on issues such as comprehensive utilization of straw from the field and supporting the improvement of agricultural digitalization. In the past decade, with the joint efforts of the team, the scientific and technological content of the village's farming and breeding work has become increasingly high. She hopes that relevant departments will continue to encourage and support the integrated farming and breeding model to promote the green and low-carbon development of agriculture.
