CCTV News: According to the website of the State Food and Drug Administration, on February 13, the exchange of medical device flight inspection of the State Food and Drug Administration was held in Beijing. The meeting reported on the main issues found during the National Administration's flight inspection in 2024, exchanged and discussed key issues, and deployed the next work arrangements. Jilin Province, Hunan Province, Guangdong Province, Shaanxi Province, Qinghai Province, Xinjiang Autonomous Region and the Corps Drug Administration reported on the rectification and implementation of enterprises found in flight inspections in their administrative regions and strengthened supervision. The Beijing Municipal Bureau and Shanxi Provincial Bureau introduced their experience in the supervision of high-risk products.
The meeting affirmed the relevant provincial bureaus' practices in adhering to problem-oriented approach, improving teams, improving mechanisms and strengthening supervision and inspection. The meeting emphasized that the National Bureau will continue to focus on key links such as centralized procurement selection, sterile and implantable medical devices, and key links such as production commissioned by registrants, organize flight inspections, and urge all provincial and bureaus to effectively implement local supervision responsibilities and ensure the safety of public equipment.
