CCTV News: On January 30, 2025 (the 17th day of the Spring Festival travel rush, the second day of the first lunar month), the cross-regional flow of people in the whole society is expected to be 286.54 million, of which 9.5 million railway passenger volume, 273.57 million highway personnel flow (254.91 million people traveling on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways, 18.66 million people commercial passenger volume), 1.2 million people water passenger volume, and 2.27 million people civil aviation passenger volume.
On January 29, 2025 (the 16th day of the Spring Festival travel rush, the first day of the first lunar month), the cross-regional personnel flow in the whole society was 205.006 million, an increase of 0.3% month-on-month and 5.4% over the same period in 2024.
The railway passenger volume was 5.512 million, a month-on-month decrease of 29%, and a decrease of 0.9% over the same period in 2024.
The traffic flow of highway personnel (including the travel of non-commercial passenger buses on highways and ordinary national and provincial highways and commercial passenger traffic on highways) was 196.71 million, an increase of 1.3% month-on-month and 5.5% over the same period in 2024. Among them, the number of business passengers on highways was 11.89 million, a month-on-month decrease of 22.5%, an increase of 2% over the same period in 2024; the number of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways was 184.82 million, a month-on-month increase of 3.3%, an increase of 5.8% over the same period in 2024.
The water passenger volume was 744,000, an increase of 26.7% month-on-month and 27.8% over the same period in 2024.
The civil aviation passenger volume was 2.0396 million, an increase of 9.52% month-on-month and 5.52% over the same period in 2024.
