Yesterday, railways across the country sent 5.512 million passengers, and the transportation was safe, stable and orderly. Today, the 17th day of the Spring Festival travel rush, the number of railway passengers has increased significantly compared with yesterday. The national railway is expected to send 9.5 million passengers, and 317 passenger trains are planned to be added. With the vigorous development of the ice and snow economy, this year's Spring Festival travel rush, the Nanchang Bureau of the National Railway launched the K974 ice and snow tour theme train for the first time, departing from Xiamen and heading directly to the ice city of Harbin, attracting many passengers to take it.

In terms of highways, the traffic of the road network has increased significantly today, and self-driving travel for short-distance travel began to increase. The traffic of small town tours, surrounding tours and folk tours has begun to rise. In addition, as of 8:00 today, 29 sections of roads in Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Jilin and other provinces were affected due to snowfall and freezing of roads. Compared with yesterday, the number of affected sections has decreased significantly.

In terms of civil aviation, 17,989 flights are expected today. In the 16 days before the Spring Festival travel rush (January 14 to January 29), the average daily passenger transport volume of civil aviation was 2.228 million, an increase of 7.49% from 2024.
