The latest data released by the China Federation of Commerce showed that in January, China's retail industry prosperity index was 51.1%, up 0.7 percentage points month-on-month and 0.2 percentage points year-on-year. Among them, the commodity business index was 51.8%, up 1.8 percentage points month-on-month; the profit level and customer unit price index rose by 4.9 and 2.0 percentage points month-on-month, both of which hit new highs in the past year.
Data shows that with the implementation of the New Year’s goods consumption during the Spring Festival and the new round of policy for trade-in for household appliances and other commodities, commodity consumption in county markets has become more active, and the role of driving consumption improvement is obvious.
