On July 27, Wu Zhengping, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, introduced at the press conference of the 9th CIIE that more than 1,200 companies from 99 countries and regions signed up to participate in the exhibition, an increase of more than 100 compared with the same period last year; the exhibition area exceeded 340,000 square meters, an increase of nearly 10,000 square meters compared with the same period last year, and 95% of the target of 360,000 square meters was completed.There are 265 Fortune 500 companies and industry leading companies, 10 more than the same period last year; 169 companies and 30 overseas exhibition organizers have become the ninth "full-time students".
