CCTV News: The reporter learned from Hainan Airport Group that during the Spring Festival holiday, from January 28 to February 4, the three major airports of Haikou Meilan, Sanya Phoenix and Qionghai Boao on Hainan Island plan to execute 9,489 flights, and it is expected to transport more than 1.65 million passengers, which will set a new historical record.

Hainan Airport Group plans to strengthen the supply of capacity by increasing the number of flights and adjusting wide-body aircraft, and do a good job in service guarantee for the Spring Festival travel rush.

As of January 27, the single-day passenger throughput of Haikou Meilan International Airport has exceeded 100,000 for 10 consecutive days, of which the single-day passenger flow on January 25 exceeded 110,000.

Haikou Meilan International Airport is expected to have a peak travel after the holiday on February 4, the seventh day of the first lunar month, and it is planned to transport more than 118,000 passengers on that day.

During the Spring Festival holiday, Sanya Airport is expected to carry out 3,573 flights and is expected to transport 680,000 passengers.

With the early completion of various projects in the flight zone of the airport's third phase expansion project, the available flights at Sanya Airport increased by 29% compared with the same period last year, and the refined management of wide-body passenger aircraft is implemented to ensure safe and smooth travel for passengers.

During this year's Spring Festival travel rush, Boao International Airport is expected to take off and land 2,150 flights and transport 290,000 passengers. Boao International Airport also joins Airline to add flights to routes from Qionghai to Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan and other popular cities to meet the needs of passengers and travel experience.
