Among them, the 16 industries with relatively obvious characteristics of new cultural industries achieved operating income of 590.82 billion yuan, an increase of 9.8% over the previous year, 3.8 percentage points faster than all cultural enterprises above the scale.
By industry, the cultural manufacturing industry achieved operating income of 4219.1 billion yuan, an increase of 4.5% over the previous year; the cultural wholesale and retail industry was 233.0 billion yuan, an increase of 3.5%; the cultural service industry was 760.19 billion yuan, an increase of 7.7%.
By field, the core cultural field achieved operating income of 9264.4 billion yuan, an increase of 6.3% over the previous year; the cultural-related field was 4886.5 billion yuan, an increase of 5.5%.
By industry categories, news and information services achieved operating income of 188.23 billion yuan, an increase of 8.8% over the previous year; content creation and production of 3125.8 billion yuan, an increase of 6.9%; creative design services of 2414.8 billion yuan, an increase of 6.8%; cultural communication channels of 1574.1 billion yuan, an increase of 1.6%; cultural investment and operation of 75.8 billion yuan, an increase of 9.1%; cultural entertainment and leisure services of 191.7 billion yuan, an increase of 4.9%; cultural auxiliary production and intermediary services of 166.65 billion yuan, an increase of 5.5%; cultural equipment production of 686.9 billion yuan, an increase of 9.3%; cultural consumption terminal production of 253.31 billion yuan, an increase of 4.6%.
By region, the eastern region achieved operating income of 11210 billion yuan, an increase of 6.1% over the previous year; the central region was 1646.6 billion yuan, an increase of 7.1%; the western region was 1169.7 billion yuan, an increase of 4.2%; the northeast region was 124.7 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.3%.
In 2024, the total profit of cultural enterprises was 1290.9 billion yuan, an increase of 10.8% over the previous year; the operating income profit margin was 9.12%, an increase of 0.39 percentage points over the previous year. At the end of 2024, the total assets of cultural enterprises totaled 21282.5 billion yuan, an increase of 5.9% over the end of the previous year; the operating income per 100 yuan of assets was 69.0 yuan, a decrease of 0.5 yuan.
