The notice proposes to deepen the reform of medical insurance payment methods, standardize medical service behaviors in other places, promote reasonable diagnosis and treatment, and promote the establishment of a unified, standardized, internal and external coordination, coordinated, balanced, safe and efficient medical insurance payment mechanism for medical treatment in other places. Before the end of 2025, all provinces will include the direct settlement fee for hospitalizations in other places within the province in the medical treatment area in terms of disease payment management, including two forms: payment by disease group (DRG) and payment by disease score (DIP).
